The 2008 Kona Honu Soccer Invitational, a national tournament sanctioned by the American Youth Soccer Organization, will take place on July 17, 18, 19 and 20, 2008 at the Old Airport Soccer Fields. Players age 9 to 16 from all over the United States and Hawaii are being invited, with plans to open up the event to international teams in the future.

This tournament will bring national teams to our backyard, giving kids exposure to new experiences on and off the soccer field. The local youth will have the opportunity to play teams with a diversity of styles and skills, as well as host other youths from around the country and introduce them to our beautiful island.

With the glistening blue Pacific Ocean just a few feet away from the soccer fields, warm Aloha hospitality, and numerous outdoor activities, we invite you to come experience Soccer - Kona Style.
